I can’t recall when it began, but I noticed how flawed and artificial our world has become ever since I was a young child. Personally, growing up has been difficult knowing that I have been surrounded 24/7 by folks who are subsumed into the constructed reality built around them. Now, as a college-aged male, it is no longer possible for me to remain silent on the issues that permeate, to the largest possible degree, within the society we inhabit.
It may be a surprise, but I am one of Western Civilization’s biggest fans. No other civilization in the known five-thousand years of recorded human history has brought wealth, prosperity, and freedom for its citizens to the extent it has today. However, the faults of Western Civilization have been rearing its most ugly face for the past several decades. It’s hard to say when this degradation first manifested. Perhaps it was after the second World War with the advent of the 1960s Counter Culture, or maybe it was with the establishment of the Federal Reserve during the Wilson Administration. Maybe it was… never-mind; such thinking will drive any man into madness in attempting to decode the distant origins of the corrosion of Western Civilization. What matters most is that its corrosion has entered an advanced stage within the last few decades and we are on a trajectory towards collapse if we don’t do anything about it.
Today’s political divide has not been seen since the last American Civil War and the divide itself is being propounded forward by bad actors in positions of influence. It is difficult to say if the American mind has become too fragile or if the influence of globalists has become too strong. However, anyone who has not become brainwashed by the corporate and federal system will see clearly that this further encroachment into the livelihood of citizens and the sovereignty of nations can only reap disaster. No longer are we willing to discuss philosophical ideas with fervor, no longer do we agree on the basic science that we have been building for the last four centuries, no longer do we confide in the political system that our fathers, grandfathers, etc. believed in. The Modernity that has been established in the 17th century is now collapsing across the Western World and the consequences of it occurring is too difficult to even imaging.
Of course, we must tread carefully on all the possible subjects that could be extracted from the three above paragraphs. There is so much to say on Western civilization alone that no one article, no matter the length, can capture the the totality of its subject matter. This is why I have started this blog. I seek to lay out the prodigious number of ideas that have been percolating in my mind throughout my lifetime so far. I do hope that you find my substack worth subscribing to as I will be sharing thoughts, ideas, and maybe even aspirations that I’m certain few have considered and worth considering.
